The opportunity

At Lucid, we are creating exceptional mobility experiences through innovation to drive the world forward. Built on Lucid’s proprietary technology and software-defined vehicle architecture, our award-winning vehicles bring our “Compromise Nothing™” approach to the global automotive market.

What you'll do

  • Root Cause Ownership: Lead technical investigations into customer-reported quality concerns and determine validated failure mechanisms using returned components, vehicle data, service findings, and laboratory test results.

  • Failure Analysis: Perform component inspections, teardown analysis, dimensional measurements, material evaluations, and functional assessments to identify failure origins and contributing factors.

  • Validation Testing: Develop and execute structured test plans that reproduce field failures, validate hypotheses, and confirm the effectiveness of corrective actions.

  • Technical Evidence: Build clear, evidence-based technical cases that combine laboratory findings, engineering data, vehicle diagnostics, manufacturing records, supplier information, and field performance data.

  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with Field Quality, Warranty Engineering, Product Engineering, Reliability, Manufacturing Engineering, Supplier Quality, and Service Operations to move investigations from issue identification through validated resolution.

  • Process Standards: Create repeatable failure-analysis procedures, test methods, technical documentation, and lessons learned that improve investigation quality and consistency across the laboratory.
