What you'll do

  • Program Execution: Lead supply-chain, industrialization, and supplier-performance execution for NPI and mass-production builds, ensuring production readiness and delivery against program milestones.

  • Supply Continuity: Own supply plans for design changes, ECO implementation, material shortages, capacity constraints, and testing requirements, driving timely mitigation and escalation decisions.

  • Commodity Strategy: Develop and implement global commodity strategies, including supplier selection, resourcing, and allocation balancing, to maximize value across cost, quality, technology, capacity, and risk.

  • Risk Management: Evaluate geopolitical, regulatory, macroeconomic, and international trade risks and translate them into sourcing actions that protect continuity of supply.

  • Supplier Leadership: Lead commercial relationships with Tier 1 suppliers and critical Tier 2 component partners, establishing clear expectations and driving performance throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Executive Insights: Produce compelling commodity summaries and data visualizations that synthesize industry structure, economics, technology trends, supplier positioning, and strategic recommendations for working teams and executives.

What they're looking for

  • Cross-Functional Decisions: Serve as the primary supply-chain liaison across Engineering, Supplier Industrialization, Finance, Logistics, Quality, Legal, and Manufacturing, aligning stakeholders and enabling timely business decisions.
  • + years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, engineering, or a closely: related discipline, including ownership of complex supplier or commodity decisions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, finance, or another relevant technical or business field.
  • Demonstrated strength in structured problem-solving, complex analysis,: supplier management, and data analytics, with the ability to convert findings into actionable sourcing recommendations.
