What you'll do
Lead the schematic design and capture for new and existing hardware platforms, primarily using Cadence OrCAD.
Own the front-end hardware architecture, including component research,: selection, and block-level system design.
Design, simulate (SPICE), and validate robust analogue and power supply: circuits (SMPS, DC-DC, LDOs) to ensure system reliability.
Collaborate closely with and review the work of PCB layout engineers to: ensure your design intent is correctly implemented, guaranteeing signal and power integrity.
Define and execute Design Verification Testing (DVT) plans to ensure products: meet stringent performance and compliance standards.
Perform hands-on debugging, testing, and root-cause analysis of hardware prototypes in the lab.
What they're looking for
- Compile and manage accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and support the transition from design to manufacturing.
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in electronic product design,: with a demonstrated focus on system-level architecture.
- Deep, proven expertise in schematic design and capture for complex digital: and analogue systems. This is the most critical skill for this role.
- Proven experience with analogue, power supply (SMPS, LDO), and circuit protection design.
