What you'll do
Maintain accuracy and audit bill of materials (BOM) in material requirements: planning (MRP) systems in preparation for satellite and subassembly rate production
Establish and manage inventory level targets, review line of balances, align: demand supply signals and allocations, maintain product master data, and develop expertise in SpaceX software, systems, and reporting tools
Identify and mitigate risk to ensure continuity of supply chain by: constructing and executing a supply plan that meets quality standards and production deadlines
Develop an expertise in MRP and triage the signals and understand the matrix: to apply your knowledge and educate the teams we support in the proper use of MRP and its benefit to the business
Coordinate with engineering, production, and quality organizations to: determine change cut in and reduce obsolescence of material and eliminate/reduce quality issues
Partner with internal stakeholders on implementing advanced supply chain: strategies for risk mitigations, such as long-term purchases and strategic safety stock
What they're looking for
- Proactively manage inventory and prevent stock outs while optimizing the utilization of SpaceX working capital
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with manufacturing,: engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to achieve mission success
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, government regulations, and laws
- Proactively update SpaceX leadership and engineering teams on all critical supply issues
