What you'll do

  • Ensure proper application of ASC 606 to customer contracts.

  • Perform and review monthly accounting close activities and deliverables (i.e.: journal entries, account reconciliations, revenue estimate calculations, month-end analytics).

  • Execute and continuously improve MEC

  • Own revenue subledger-to-GL tie-out; prepare and review journal entries and: reconciliations (deferred revenue, contract assets, unbilled AR).

  • Perform flux analysis vs. plan/prior period; resolve discrepancies quickly and conclusively.

  • Sponsor process and system enhancements across ERP, billing, and revenue: automation; define requirements, lead UAT, and maintain controls and documentation.

  • Support the financial reporting process by preparing supporting schedules
  • Establish well-defined checklists, calendars, and SLAs for MEC and audits;: escalate blockers early and bias for action to unblock close.
  • Evaluate transactions in accordance with revenue policies with minimal supervision.
  • Provide management insights and recommendations for improving scalability and efficiency
