What you'll do
Oversee inventory control activities, including receiving, labeling, binning,: issuing, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliations.
Maintain accurate accountability of inventory, including stock levels, lot: tracking, and required documentation, to prevent loss and discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with established inventory control procedures, warehouse: standard operating procedures (SOPs), and audit requirements.
Supervise the safe operation of forklifts and other material-handling: equipment, ensuring personnel are properly trained and certified.
Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and warehouse equipment and: coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs as needed.
Establish and maintain efficient workflows for the receipt, loading,: unloading, storage, and distribution of materials.
What they're looking for
- Ensure compliance with applicable OSHA regulations, EM 385-1-1 requirements: (when applicable to DoD or federal contracts), and company safety standards.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and operations teams to support: material availability and meet operational requirements.
- Prepare and maintain reports related to inventory accuracy, equipment: utilization, warehouse efficiency, and personnel performance.
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize warehouse layout,: material flow, inventory accuracy, and overall operational efficiency.
