What you'll do
Physically deploy, mount, wire, and integrate Atlas Copco controllers, tool: stands, and tooling hardware across production lines
Program and configure Atlas Copco Power Focus and MicroTorque systems to exact engineering specifications
Diagnose production floor issues, troubleshoot tightening failures, and optimize tightening programs (Psets)
Analyze tightening curves and graphs to diagnose torque vs. angle anomalies,: cross-threading, and joint relaxation
Train manufacturing technicians and operators on the proper handling and safety of smart tools
Maintain tooling health and calibration records to ensure continuous reliability and minimize downtime
What they're looking for
- Experience using ToolsTalk 2 software
- Experience with micro-fastening applications for electronics or small electromechanical joints
- Familiarity with torque-tension relationships (soft vs. hard joints)
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-mix manufacturing environment
