What you'll do
Manage the calibration database, ensuring it is updated appropriately,: including location and ownership of tools. Communicate calibration recalls to tool owners and interested parties.
Coordinate equipment rotations to ensure users and production are not starved of resources.
Manage the physical recall of devices requiring calibration.
Build and maintain infrastructure for equipment flagged for calibration: (e.g., drop locations for assets, standardized intake information, instructions for 3rd party vendors).
Create processes and procedures documenting the standard operations of the: calibration program, defining roles and responsibilities for involved and interested parties.
Coordinate calibration activities with vendors, including requesting quotes: for services, creating purchase orders, and scheduling on-site calibration.
What they're looking for
- Support the creation, upkeep, and communication of calibration procedures and: documented information. Manage training of internal calibration stakeholders.
- Manage the risk assessment process for product affected by tools found out of: calibration. Ensure certificates of calibration are available when required by testing standards.
- Ensure calibrated tooling meets required calibration standards when required: by regulations, customer requirements, or otherwise.
- Associates degree in Science, Engineering, or a similar technical field. Will: consider Military training or experience (PMEL, TMDE, or Electronics).
