The opportunity

What you'll do

  • Monitor and investigate high-volume alerts across multiple risk channels,: focusing on fraud patterns, money laundering red flags, and PEP/sanctions screening matches in real-time, meeting daily productivity (KPIs) and quality (QA) targets.

  • Clearly document your analytical steps and baseline findings in Adyen’s: internal case management tools, building robust audit trails.

  • Assist in the development and optimization of processes, systems, and tools,: suggesting improvements and enhancements as needed.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest financial crime trends, techniques, and: technologies to continuously enhance detection and prevention methods.

  • Identify and escalate suspicious activity or sophisticated alerts to Senior: Analysts or Second Line Compliance teams according to established operational workflows.

  • + years of experience in AML, Fraud, or Screening at a financial institution or fintech company.

What they're looking for

  • Strong working knowledge of fraud typologies, transaction monitoring methods,: and KYC/CDD screening frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and writing skills being able to synthesize complex: transactional flows into logical, professional investigative narratives.
  • Willingness to make difficult decisions and quickly learn and iterate from: these experiences - you are skilled at using data to drive decisions.
  • You are able to work both on your own and with others, taking ownership where: your knowledge is needed. At the same time you are a strong collaborator who is comfortable with connecting with colleagues across different teams and cultures, sharing ideas to improve efficient teamwork.
