What you'll do

  • HITL/Ironbird Design, Build, and Integration

  • Assemble complex electromechanical subsystems, test racks, junction boxes,: and associated hardware, including fabrication, component assembly, and system integration.

  • Design, fabricate, assemble, and modify complex cable and wire harness: assemblies for prototype and production systems.

  • Execute Safe-to-Mate (STM), Safe-to-Power (STP), and hardware integration: procedures to safely integrate and energize flight hardware.

  • Support electrical checkout, functional verification, and root case: investigation during hardware integration and validation activities.

  • HITL Lab Sustainment

What they're looking for

  • Maintain the health and operational readiness of HITL and Iron Bird: environments through maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and continuous improvement.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical components, line replaceable: units (LRUs), wiring harnesses, and integration hardware.
  • Manage inventory of lab hardware, tools, cables, connectors, and spare components.
  • Maintain accurate configuration documentation for integration and test environments.
