The opportunity

This position in our Monterrey Center of Excellence supports shipment planning and optimization processes for operations in the US and Canada. Shifts for this role are generally Monday through Friday, working from 05:00-14:00, 06:00-15:00, 07:00-16:00, or 08:00-17:00.

What you'll do

  • Manage end-to-end transportation planning and execution, ensuring shipments: meet customer service, cost, and delivery requirements.

  • Optimize freight networks by consolidating shipments, improving load: utilization, and reducing transportation costs while maintaining service levels.

  • Resolve routing guide exceptions, carrier disruptions, and capacity: constraints to ensure uninterrupted freight movement and on-time delivery.

  • Consistently achieve and exceed cost-savings and routing compliance targets: through strategic load planning and carrier management.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, carriers, plants, and customer: service stakeholders to align transportation strategies and resolve operational challenges.

  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities that enhance: operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
  • Previous experience in logistics, transportation, freight brokerage, or: operational customer support, managing in-transit loads.
  • “Call First” mindset, with confidence and willingness to make outbound calls: to resolve escalations efficiently.
