The MongoDB Documentation team is a group of writers and engineers who develop and maintain the documentation for the MongoDB product family. Our goal is to help our readers, both humans and AI, successfully use MongoDB products by providing outstanding documentation.
What you'll do
Is passionate about developing writing expertise on a team through reviews and mentorship
Has experience prioritizing and planning documentation projects
Works collaboratively with other documentation leaders and writers
Grew a technical writing team through interviewing, hiring, and onboarding talented writers
Has hands-on experience using AI tools to accelerate documentation work
Leverages sound editorial judgment to evaluate AI-generated content against: source material for technical accuracy
What they're looking for
- Possesses strong critical reading and writing skills
- Has experience with cloud and database technologies
- Is able to write code for technical examples in at least one programming: language (e.g., C++, C#, Java, Python, JavaScript). Comfortable reading and interpreting code
- Lead a technical writing team with opportunity for team growth
