What you'll do
Qualified Lawyer: Seasoned lawyer with extensive experience on Product counseling (jurisdiction agnostic; multiple bars a plus)
Product Counsel Experience in technology, with proven expertise in HR tech: (Payroll/PEO/EOR) and track record advising at scale across multiple jurisdictions.
Deep expertise in AI frameworks (EU AI Act, UK approach, U.S. state/federal: developments, Canada AIDA) and their interplay with data protection (GDPR/CCPA), employment law, and payroll compliance across jurisdictions
In-house Experience: Bonus - In-house legal experience preferred
Startup Experience: Bonus - Experience in fast-paced start-up
Tech Passion: Passionate about tech and HR tech products
What they're looking for
- Skills : Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Language : Writes and speaks fluent English
- Tools : Tech-savvy with Claude, Slack, Notion, Google Drive, or equivalent
- Collaborate with the team on payroll and AI product counseling end-to-end ,: including payroll launch readiness assessment, AI impact assessments, model cards, and risk controls with Privacy/Security.
