The opportunity

Peak Energy is the first American venture to advance globally proven Sodium-Ion battery systems as the storage standard for the new era of renewable energy on a resilient grid. Sodium-Ion is cheap, readily available and safe, making it the leading contender in a rapidly evolving market.

What you'll do

  • Develop, evaluate, and continuously improve battery manufacturing processes: to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase product quality. Implement best practices to optimize production.

  • Support manufacturing quality by establishing and maintaining rigorous: quality control standards, ensuring that the batteries meet or exceed industry and company specifications.

  • Identify and recommend state-of-the-art equipment and technologies that can: be integrated into the production process to improve product performance, reliability, and yield.

  • Investigate and resolve process-related issues, such as defects, deviations,: and inefficiencies, using root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques.

  • Ensure that all processes and equipment adhere to safety protocols and: industry standards. Implement and maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of processes, procedures, and: equipment specifications. Create process manuals and train production staff on best practices.

What they're looking for

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and: quality assurance, to ensure the smooth transition of new products from development to full-scale manufacturing.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the: manufacturing engineering department, identifying opportunities to enhance processes and product performance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or a: related field). A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in battery manufacturing processes, preferably in: lithium-ion or other advanced battery technologies.
