What you'll do
Build scalable accounting processes to support global growth in payment processing accounting
Partner with product, go-to-market, and Finance teams to understand new products, features, and contracts
Partner with Systems and Engineering teams to improve financial systems and automate accounting processes
Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and design processes and: controls for emerging business activities
Develop and maintain current accounting procedure documentation
Plan and perform monthly and quarterly close activities, including journal: entries, balance-sheet reconciliations, variance analyses, financial reporting deliverables, and reviews
What they're looking for
- years of relevant accounting experience
- Professional accountancy qualification, such as CA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience with monthly or quarterly close processes, journal-entry: preparation and posting, audits, regulatory reporting, financial-statement preparation, and accounting systems
- Working knowledge of US GAAP, including ASC 606, and experience with internal controls
- Ability to structure ambiguous work, solve problems using Excel, build: systems and automation, collaborate across functions and cultures, and adapt to changing requirements
- Experience in the technology or payments industry
- Experience with Oracle Suite
