What you'll do
Take end-to-end responsibility for regulatory approvals and ongoing: regulatory engagement with regulators across all exchange markets, including Spot, Futures, and Options.
Develop a deep understanding of product designs across exchange business: lines, assessing regulatory implications and ensuring compliance by design from the outset.
Prepare, submit, and negotiate regulatory filings, product approvals, and: policy positions with regulators, securing timely approvals while maintaining constructive regulator relationships.
Act as the primary point of contact for regulators on exchange-related: matters, managing day-to-day regulatory correspondence, information requests, and ad-hoc queries.
Provide regulatory strategy and guidance to product, engineering, and: business teams throughout the product lifecycle — from concept and design through to launch and post-launch monitoring.
Support local entities and regional teams with regulatory matters as needed,: ensuring alignment with global regulatory standards and local requirements.
What they're looking for
- + years of experience in regulatory affairs, compliance, or legal roles: within traditional financial institutions (e.g., securities exchanges, clearing houses, investment banks, or financial regulators).
- Proven track record of directly engaging with and negotiating approvals from: financial regulators, ideally including FSRA or comparable regulators (e.g., FCA, SFC, MAS, CFTC).
- Strong understanding of exchange-traded products and market structures across: Spot, Futures, and Options in both traditional finance and digital asset contexts.
- Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks governing financial exchanges,: including conduct of business, market integrity, clearing and settlement, and client protection rules.
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related discipline;: advanced degree or professional qualification (e.g., LLB, CFA, ACA) is a plus.
