What you'll do
Perform and drive month-end close tasks related to the Assets, Inventory, and: Supply Chain accounting areas. This includes Ledger Close, Balance Sheet and P&L reporting, flux analysis, and preparation/review of journal entries and corresponding reconciliations
Partner closely with the business to design and implement new operational: processes and accounting flows. Identify, scope, and resolve process gaps across your business area, driving consistency across stakeholders
Act as the subject matter expert in Inventory and Supply Chain Accounting to: support major system implementations, enhancements, and bug resolutions. Proactively find process efficiencies through elimination, automation, and strategic outsourcing
Proactively identify risks, generate risk mitigation plans, and escalate issues when appropriate
Prepare and present complex financial and technical information clearly to: various audiences, including finance leaders, cross-functional business partners, and internal/external auditors
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent practical experience
What they're looking for
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
- + year's experience with a Big 4 accounting firm and 3+ year's experience in industry
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, particularly in the areas of inventory (ASC 330) and fixed assets (ASC 360)
- Proven track record as a problem solver with experience running large,: cross-functional projects that span offices, teams, geographies, etc.
