What you'll do
Help manage product sustainment in a production process with engineering: improvements, product cost down, and sourcing engineering support
Perform and own design updates of embedded electronics, including hardware: selection, schematic & PCB updates, board bring-up, validation and system level integration
Work closely with other electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test: engineers to perform product updates driven by new feature requests and/or component obsolescence's
Troubleshoot issues that span the electrical and software boundaries, with: solid skills using both lab equipment (Oscilloscopes, DMM, etc.) and software debugging tools
Support sourcing teams with managing long lead and end-of-life components to ensure continuous production.
Work in a fast-paced environment supporting new product introductions, active: deployments, and customer operated hardware
What they're looking for
- Balance involvement in multiple sustaining projects at various stages to ensure timely and effective results.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
- + years of experience designing, testing, troubleshooting and sustaining complex embedded systems and products
