The opportunity
Databricks is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Sales Finance team. You will report to the Sr.
What you'll do
Own and improve forecasts for bookings, invoicing, collections, and cash: while identifying key risks and opportunities.
Develop a deep understanding of Databricks’ business model to drive forecast and business insights
Analyze company performance against core financial and operational KPIs and: communicate insights to Finance leadership.
Develop scalable driver-based forecasting models and improve forecast: methodologies through historical analysis and business insights.
Build executive-level reporting and presentations that clearly communicate: financial performance, and strategic recommendations.
Drive process improvements, automation, and reporting enhancements to support: a fast-growing, data-driven organization.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, Finance or a comparable field
- + years of corporate finance, management consulting, or investment banking: experience; familiarity with the software industry (and SaaS) a plus
- Experience in building financial models independently and preparing recommendations
- Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
