What you'll do
Manage the Ops financial processes in partnership with Ops, Product, Data: Science, and Accounting teams; track variances and drivers of variances in actual spend vs. forecasts
Partner on long term strategic investments and optimization analytics; turn: data into insight as a strategic advisor to the Ops team, providing financial rigor for long term Waymo Ops strategy and supporting the development of measurement frameworks and resource allocation analysis to assess the ROI of efficiency investments and influence leadership to fund those investments
Drive strategic action; lead business reviews on gaps between forecast and: actual spend, driving accountability and ownership on closing gaps
Collaborate deeply as you embed with Ops, Product, and Data Science teams to: ensure our growth and forecast models are rigorous and accurate
years’ experience in Financial Planning & Analytics, Go-To-Market Finance,: Commercial Finance, and/or Strategic Finance
Exceptional financial modeling skills with the ability to build complex,: driver-based models from scratch and a strong familiarity with financial statements
