What you'll do
Lead Aurora’s evolution across foundations, components, patterns, and product-specific assemblies.
Define component contracts and structured specs covering anatomy, properties,: variants, states, slots, composition, accessibility, and intended use.
Make design intent machine-readable for Figma, code, documentation,: prototypes, and AI coding agents, including behaviors Figma cannot express alone.
Partner with engineers to connect Figma, tokens, React, Storybook,: prototypes, and documentation through deterministic workflows that minimize drift.
Strengthen Aurora’s token architecture, themes, aliases, states, and core foundations.
Establish audits and quality gates for hardcoded values, invalid: combinations, missing states, accessibility gaps, and system divergence.

- Help version and communicate system changes through change logs, release: notes, impact reports, and architectural decision records.
- Explore responsible AI/LLM use of Aurora, then build prototypes, tools, and: guidance that help teams apply the system consistently.
- Audit product surfaces, improve high-impact inconsistencies, and mentor: designers and engineers in systems thinking and AI-ready workflows.
