What you'll do

  • Own the close, end to end. Perform monthly close activities including usage: review, journal entry preparation, flux analyses, account reconciliations and analytics — and continuously look for ways to compress the timeline.

  • Apply ASC 606 with precision and judgment. Ensure proper application of ASC: 606 to customer contracts, including assessing non-standard terms, documenting accounting conclusions and navigating evolving policy interpretations as our product portfolio grows.

  • Dig into the details. Pull, validate and troubleshoot data yourself: contract details, system outputs and data discrepancies. You are not waiting for someone to hand you a clean dataset.

  • Automate relentlessly. Identify manual, repetitive processes and take: ownership of building or championing automation — whether that means writing SQL queries, building scripts, designing workflow improvements or partnering with engineering to implement systematic fixes.

  • Leverage AI to work smarter. Use AI tools and large language models (LLMs) to: accelerate routine tasks — drafting memos, analyzing large datasets, building reconciliation templates, summarizing contract terms or prototyping process improvements.

  • Support financial reporting. Prepare key metrics, financial statement: disclosures and ad hoc analyses for management, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in a dynamic reporting environment.

  • Collaborate across functions. Partner with Revenue Operations, Deal Desk,: Billing, FP&A and FDS teams to implement systematic processes and automation that support scalability and new business initiatives.
  • Support the audit with confidence. Prepare schedules, document controls,: participate in walkthroughs and liaise with auditors — bringing organized, well-documented workpapers that reflect a deep understanding of the underlying transactions.
  • Drive process improvement. Don't just close the books: make the close better every month. Identify bottlenecks, propose solutions and execute on improvements that accelerate the cycle and reduce risk.
  • Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Finance or Accounting
