The opportunity
The Cluster to Cluster Synchronization team is working to make migrations, backups, and disaster recovery of MongoDB clusters easy and reliable. Our main focus is mongosync , a tool to synchronize two MongoDB clusters.
What you'll do
Build mongosync, a database migration and syncing tool. This tool is heavily: used by MongoDB Atlas (our Database-as-a-Service), as well as by on-prem customers
Develop the MongoDB Database Tools, a set of CLI utilities for working with a: MongoDB deployment. It includes tools for importing, exporting, and diagnostics
Work closely with product, support, and engineers across the organization to: collectively build features that our customers love
Mentor and contribute to the growth of team members
