What you'll do
Design, develop, test, refactor and scale consumer product features end to: end — from member-facing React/TypeScript interfaces through the services and APIs that power them
Build strong, resilient APIs and partner with mobile engineers on the contracts behind our React Native app
Rapidly prototype and launch A/B tests, then use the results to decide what: ships, what iterates, and what gets killed
Own the quality of what you ship end to end: page performance, funnel conversion, accessibility, and the instrumentation that tells you it's working
Collaborate with product, design, data science, and marketing to understand: member pain points and come up with solutions
Proactively identify opportunities for improving the reliability and scalability of our systems
What they're looking for
- Work across the engineering team to improve and uphold high technical standards
- + years developing software in a production environment at scale
- Proven experience with a modern front-end framework (React or comparable) and: a server-side framework (Ruby on Rails or comparable)
- Comfort with TypeScript and component-driven UI development
