What you'll do

  • Systems-level programming experience in Go, Rust, C, or C++. We use Rust: extensively, and while experience with the language isn't required a willingness to learn it is.

  • A solid grasp of networking protocols in Layers 3 and 4 of the OSI Model.

  • Knowledge of HTTP, TLS, and CDN networks.

  • Experience in implementing secure and highly-available distributed systems.

  • Experience with monitoring, alerting, and debugging large-scale distributed systems.

  • Experience participating in an on-call rotation.
