The opportunity

As Senior Solutions Architect for Developer Platform, you will own the regional technical strategy for Cloudflare’s Developer Platform customer and partner engagements.

What you'll do

  • Own the technical strategy for Developer Platform customers and partners.

  • Translate business, application, security, and operational requirements into: secure, scalable, and maintainable architectures on Cloudflare.

  • Lead architecture discovery, technical workshops, proofs of concept, design: reviews, and production-readiness discussions.

  • Advise engineering executives and other senior stakeholders on application: modernization, distributed systems, AI architecture, and platform strategy.

  • Establish reference architectures, architectural standards, and governance: patterns that can be reused across customers and the APJC field organization.

  • Remain hands-on by building, reviewing, and troubleshooting representative applications and integrations.

What they're looking for

  • Substantial experience in solutions architecture, software engineering,: technical consulting, or a related customer-facing technical role. Successful candidates will typically bring 10 or more years of relevant experience, although demonstrated scope and impact matter more than a specific number of years.
  • Professional fluency in English and one common Indian language, with the: ability to lead technical and executive discussions in both languages.
  • Experience owning complex technical strategies involving developers, platform: or infrastructure teams, security stakeholders, and senior executives.
  • Deep knowledge of distributed application architecture, including compute,: storage, networking, security, reliability, and observability.
  • Hands-on software-development experience, including the ability to build or: review production-quality applications and proofs of concept.
  • Experience with modern web technologies and at least one widely used: programming ecosystem, preferably JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Strong understanding of serverless or cloud-native architectures, modern: software-delivery practices, and at least one major public cloud platform.
  • A record of influencing without direct authority, mentoring technical: colleagues, and turning individual solutions into reusable organizational capabilities.
