Stripe's mission depends on the trust of the businesses that run on us. Internal Identity builds the infrastructure that keeps access to Stripe's systems secure: strong authentication and authorization that stays out of people's way.
What you'll do
Build and maintain reliable, performant and scalable authorization: infrastructure (e.g. libraries, frameworks, services).
Build comprehensive understanding of authorization needs of our users (e.g.: product teams and infrastructure teams).
Build comprehensive, easy-to-use, and policy driven authorization solutions.
Collaborate with our users to adopt our authorization solutions to protect: their resources by providing a great user experience.
Build access visibility and continuous policy governance to empower resource: owners, legal and compliance to put risk of inappropriate access under control.
What they're looking for
- years of professional hands-on software development experience
- Experience in the security domain
- Strong communication and cross-functional skills; drives clear next steps: when there aren’t clear lines of ownership
- Prefer simple solutions and designs over complex ones; have a good intuition for what is lasting and scalable.
- Good product sense; able to seek out requirements from dependent teams and align them with business needs
- Experience in the identity and authorization domain
- Experience with Go, Java or Ruby
