What you'll do
Define and drive the technical vision for our platform with a product-first mindset.
Lead and contribute to the full development cycle: technical design, implementation, testing, experimentation, and deployment.
Participate in code and design reviews, offering constructive feedback to improve technical quality
Mentor and provide technical guidance to engineers, fostering a culture of: knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
Collaborate with engineering, marketing, creative, and design to drive impactful outcomes.
At Staff+ level, our engineers are responsible for setting a technical vision: and delivering solutions that are flexible, efficient, and scale with the needs of the business. Each individual brings their own unique skill set, experiences, thought leadership, and technical expertise to solve these challenges for Airbnb.
What they're looking for
- + years of hands-on software engineering experience
- Bachelor’s and/or Master/PhD’s degree, preferably in CS, or equivalent experience
- Expertise in backend systems with large-scale service-oriented architecture
- Hands on experience architecting and developing agentic systems
