The opportunity

Adyen provides payments, data, and financial products in a single solution for customers like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft - making us the financial technology platform of choice. At Adyen, everything we do is engineered for ambition.

What you'll do

  • Solve high-complexity, systemic challenges: Take on high-stakes, ambiguous projects where no playbook exists. You’ll create the structure, define the “why,” and drive the “how,” taking undefined concepts from zero to scalable reality.

  • Design for the end-to-end customer lifecycle: Make sure a commercial idea translates into seamless Merchant Ops onboarding, a smooth Professional Services implementation, and world-class Support. You design for the customer experience and for the effectiveness of our internal teams.

  • Unblock the organization: Identify process debt and technical roadblocks that slow us down, and replace them with scalable, automated, or simplified workflows.

  • Connect global pillars: Act as the link between Adyen’s global product pillars and our operational domains, so our operations are ready before new products launch.

  • Steer with data: Use performance metrics as a roadmap for action. Spot friction early and use data-led diagnostics to guide the organization toward better ways of working.

  • Build AI into how we work: Go beyond adopting third-party tools. Re-engineer our processes, tooling, and ways of working so we scale through intelligence rather than complexity.

What they're looking for

  • A strategic operator with 5+ years of experience in strategy consulting, tech: strategy, business operations, program management, or operations in a high-growth environment. You’ve taken complex, messy programs from concept to delivery without letting the ball drop.
  • A systems thinker who looks beyond the immediate task to platform: dependencies and technical trade-offs, and who sees how a decision in one area ripples across the customer journey.
  • A problem solver who doesn’t rely on “how it’s always been done.” You break: problems down to their fundamentals and build solutions that are tech-driven, friction-free, and customer-centric.
  • A strategic influencer who can navigate high-stakes discussions with senior: stakeholders, bring clarity to ambiguity, and drive alignment across teams and regions.
