What you'll do
Receive, store and issue hand tools, replacement tools, shop supplies and equipment
Keep record of tools issued to and returned by workers
Search for lost or misplaced tools and notify supervision as required
Prepare inventory and requisition stock as needed
Unpack and store new equipment
Visually inspect tools for wear and defects, and order replacement tools as necessary
What they're looking for
- Attach identification tags or engrave identifying information on tools and equipment as needed
- Assist repair cycle specialist in maintaining inventories on parts, tools and equipment
- Assist management team with the ordering of tools, parts, and equipment: within the control of the tool room facility
- Handle and dispose of hazardous materials
