What you'll do
Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable and performant services and systems
Collaborate with other engineers across Stripe, as well as stakeholders: across product, design, risk, legal, and operations
Build easy to use systems that streamlines adoption of Stripe and enable safe migration of data
Make effective tradeoffs that consider business priorities, user experience,: and a sustainable technical foundation
Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes
What they're looking for
- + years of industry experience shipping high-quality products
- Strong analytical capability and ability to quickly ramp up in a new area, and tackle ambiguous problems
- Enjoy and have experience building end-to-end solution, including full: development lifecycle of deploying and maintaining this infrastructure
- Experience with web software development
- Hold yourself and others to a high bar when working with production systems
- Take pride in taking ownership and driving projects to business impact
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with both technical and non-technical counterparts
- Able to reason clearly and move with urgency in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
