Logistics Account Manager IINew
The opportunity
This position will work in office 5 days per week. The Account Manager II is an individual contributor role that is responsible for providing a best-in-class customer experience, serving as the first line of contact for our customers.
What you'll do
Secure Capacity for Load
Contact carrier to obtain status of load tendered; continue monitoring the: shipment status and updating in the system, then notifying the shipper and/or Receiver and rescheduling when necessary
Set-up New Locations (Shippers/Receivers); and/or Set-up new vendors
Upload vendor profile sheet, assign vendor code, contact vendor to determine: shipping dates, hours or operations, etc.
Establish and maintain effective relationships with carriers, shippers and: receivers through professional and timely communications and inquiry responses
Correspond with customer and carrier regarding detention information

- Maintain current customer rates in the Transportation Management System
- Maintain up-to-date Fuel Surcharge by Customer
- Manage accounts receivables within specified guidelines
