The opportunity

Buying something for a business should not require finance teams to piece together requests, purchase orders, receipts, and invoices across disconnected systems. Ramp is building a procurement experience that helps employees get what they need, gives finance teams control over…

What you'll do

  • Own the strategy and roadmap for Ramp’s Procurement pod. Make clear choices: about which customer problems to solve, how the capabilities fit together, and what to build next.

  • Build connected workflows across sourcing, requisition, approvals, renewals,: purchase orders, receiving, invoice matching, and inventory management. Partner with Bill Pay, Accounting, and platform teams so purchasing records and decisions carry through to payment and customers’ ERP systems.

  • Spend time with finance teams, procurement leaders, purchasing operators, and: employees. Turn observed friction into simpler experiences for first-time customers and powerful workflows for complex organizations.

  • Build AI-powered experiences that complete useful work, such as finding new: vendors, managing a renewal, drafting a request from a contract, or helping resolve a receipt and invoice discrepancy. Prototype with customers and decide what should be automated, suggested, or handled through direct user controls.

  • Make automation dependable. Partner with Engineering and Data to define: quality measures, test realistic customer scenarios, learn from corrections, and provide clear explanations, approval boundaries, audit trails, and recovery when something goes wrong.

  • Own outcomes beyond launch. Define and improve activation, repeat usage, time: to complete purchasing work, and the accuracy of matching and exception resolution. Use data and customer research to choose the next iteration.

What they're looking for

  • Lead execution with engineers and designers, make scope and sequencing: tradeoffs, and align partner teams on dependencies. Work with Sales, Implementation, and Customer Experience to turn customer commitments into repeatable product capabilities and support successful adoption.
