What you'll do
Perform systematic audits and evaluations of mechanical maintenance, repair,: and installation activities to assess compliance with contractual requirements, technical specifications, codes, and standards.
Perform technical quality inspections and field evaluations of HVAC,: plumbing, piping, pumps, boilers, and other mechanical systems work performed by technicians and subcontractors.
Interpret and apply applicable mechanical codes, technical standards,: drawings, and specifications to determine compliance and identify deficiencies.
Evaluate installation, preventive maintenance, repair, inspection, and: testing activities for adherence to contract requirements, manufacturer specifications, and regulatory standards.
Exercise independent judgment in determining acceptability of mechanical work: and recommending corrective actions, rework, or escalation.
Analyze inspection findings, recurring deficiencies, work orders, and: equipment performance data to identify trends, risks, and systemic issues.
What they're looking for
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports outlining deficiencies, compliance: status, corrective actions, and recommended resolutions to the Quality Assurance Manager.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of mechanical QA/QC: procedures, inspection protocols, checklists, and compliance standards.
- Utilize CMMS and related systems, including Maximo, to document inspections,: track deficiencies, monitor corrective actions, and support data-driven quality decisions.
- Provide technical guidance to mechanical technicians and project teams: regarding specifications, workmanship standards, code requirements, and quality expectations.
