What you'll do
Lead the engineering strategy and execution for enabling customer AI agents: to securely and reliably consume Twilio platform capabilities.
Build and scale systems that power AI agents for Twilio’s internal business: operations, improving efficiency and automation.
Collaborate across product, platform, security, and go-to-market teams to: identify high-impact AI agent use cases and deliver production-ready solutions.
Cultivate a high-performing engineering team by hiring, mentoring, and: developing managers and engineers across a rapidly evolving technical space.
Drive operational excellence by establishing clear metrics, performing: roadmap planning, and ensuring reliability, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Acquire new technical skills and knowledge in a fast-paced, high-delivery: environment. There will be a steep learning curve to this job, you should be comfortable diving in the deep end and creating clarity for yourself.
What they're looking for
- + years hands on experience as an engineer writing production-grade code in a: modern programming language (language agnostic)
- + years of experience directly supervising teams of engineers across different disciplines.
- Experience fostering a culture of technical excellence and guiding a team through technical design decisions
- Proven track record of shipping products to production, testing ideas early: with customers and iterating rapidly on their feedback.
