What you'll do
Platform Consumption & Monetization Controls: Partner with engineering and finance functions to design internal controls over platform consumption and monetization calculations & oversee compliant execution of such controls. Liaise directly with Internal Audit regarding control environments.
Cloud Partner Reconciliations: Oversee the end-to-end reconciliation of internal platform usage against usage submitted by cloud platform partners (GCP, AWS, Azure). Analyze all reconciling items between internal and external usage, resolve discrepancies stemming from errors/bugs, identify revenue recognition impacts in consultation with accounting, and establish standardized governance processes.
SOX & Engineering Process Execution: Execute processes in close collaboration with Engineering to ensure all usage-related, financially impacting workflows are accurate, complete, SOX-ready, and fully validated prior to customer billing and revenue conversion.
Metering Data Set Management: Manage the paid usage metering dataset to ensure the revenue yield for every unit of consumption remains precise, maintaining a reliable internal source of truth for Finance, FP&A, and business stakeholders.
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Data Science, or a related technical field.
Professional Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience in revenue operations, financial compliance, IT audit, or SOX control frameworks.
