What you'll do
Lead technical accounting research and prepare memos for complex, non-routine: transactions in accordance with U.S. GAAP
Analyze accounting implications of significant transactions, including: revenue, equity, debt, business combinations, leases, and stock-based compensation
Partner cross-functionally (Legal, Tax, FP&A, Treasury) to assess accounting: impacts and provide guidance ahead of execution
Develop and maintain accounting policies; evaluate and implement new FASB and: SEC guidance in preparation for public company readiness
Support IPO readiness efforts, including drafting technical disclosures,: assisting with S-1/10-K preparation, and enhancing financial statement presentation
Assist with consolidated financial statement preparation, footnotes, and: reporting package reviews to ensure accuracy and SEC compliance
What they're looking for
- Support external audits and SOX readiness by preparing documentation,: strengthening controls, and improving close and reporting processes
- Contribute to M&A, system implementations, and other strategic initiatives to support company growth
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- + years of experience in technical accounting, preferably within a Big 4 firm and/or a publicly traded company
