What you'll do
Design, build, deploy, and maintain scalable backend microservices and: RESTful APIs using Java / Kotlin and AWS infrastructure.
Lead complex projects that may span multiple teams & systems.
Champion best practices such quality automated testing and phased rollouts to: ensure zero-regression releases and high test coverage.
Monitor service health for success & failure, analyze logs and metrics: (Datadog/CloudWatch), and participate in on-call rotations to maintain platform uptime.
Collaborate organically with peer engineers, provide design feedback, and participate in code reviews.
Collaborate with PM & UX on the development of new features & products.
What they're looking for
- Mentor & coach your peer engineers.
- Use AI tooling as a genuine part of your workflow, not an afterthought
- + years professional backend software development in Kotlin, Java, or another: object-oriented language, with solid instincts around testing and code quality.
- Have strong understanding & hands-on experience of building RESTful apis,: fault-tolerant, highly-scalable & secure distributed systems.
