What you'll do
Build, test, and deploy scalable backend microservices and RESTful APIs using: Java / Kotlin and AWS infrastructure.
Champion best practices such quality automated testing and phased rollouts to: ensure zero-regression releases and high test coverage.
Monitor service health for success & failure, analyze logs and metrics: (Datadog/CloudWatch), and participate in on-call rotations to maintain platform uptime.
Collaborate organically with peer engineers, provide design feedback, and participate in code reviews.
Collaborate with PM & UX on the development of new features & products.
Use AI tooling as a genuine part of your workflow, not an afterthought
What they're looking for
- + years of professional backend software development in Kotlin, Java, or: another object-oriented language, with solid instincts around testing and code quality.
- Experience building RESTful APIs and distributed systems in production.
- Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity to learn restaurant domain: workflows, and enthusiasm for collaborating in an agile, cross-functional team.
- Experience working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and: writing efficient SQL queries and schema migrations.
