The opportunity
Databricks is looking for a Staff Unified Communications Engineer to lead the evolution of our global communication and workplace technology infrastructure. This role is focused on delivering reliable, scalable, and high-quality communication systems while supporting rapid global office expansion.
What you'll do
Own the deployment, reliability, and evolution of enterprise voice,: conferencing, and workplace communication systems
Lead high-impact infrastructure initiatives supporting employees, executives, and global offices
Ensure seamless communication experiences across conference rooms, executive: spaces, and workplace environments
Partner with PM, Workplace, Real Estate, Construction, Networking, and: Facilities teams to support aggressive global office buildouts
Lead communication and workplace technology deployments for new offices,: renovations, and infrastructure upgrades
Develop scalable standards for conference rooms, executive environments, and workplace communication systems
What they're looking for
- Manage multiple concurrent deployments while maintaining operational excellence across existing offices
- Design and support enterprise voice and AV infrastructure connectivity,: conferencing systems, and workplace integrations.
- Troubleshoot complex communication and media issues across global environments
- Build automation and operational tooling to improve scalability, reliability, and efficiency
