The opportunity
As a Sr. Manager, Field Engineering, you will lead a diverse team of technical pre-sales Solutions Architects covering the Asean region.
What you'll do
Lead, mentor, and support a high-performing, inclusive pre-sales team
Foster an environment of belonging, continuous learning, and psychological: safety that reflects Databricks’ values of customer focus, teamwork, and diversity.
Work closely with Sales and other teams to identify opportunities and deliver: data-driven, value-focused solutions.
Establish best practices that improve team efficiency, collaboration, and business impact.
Build trusted relationships with customers and partners, acting as a: strategic advisor in their digital transformation journey.
Partner with Marketing, Sales, Services, and other cross-functional teams to: ensure a seamless customer experience.
What they're looking for
- Represent Databricks as part of the regional leadership team, contributing to: our local presence and inclusive culture.
- Proven experience leading or managing technical teams in Big Data, Cloud, or: SaaS environments—or equivalent experience gained through hands-on engineering or consulting work.
- A track record of coaching and developing diverse, high-performing teams.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to partner effectively with: Sales, Marketing, and other cross-functional leaders.
